Hungry Jack Lodge and Campsite is located in northern Minnesota just off of the Gunflint Trail.  It is close enough to the bustling town of Grand Marais for the occasional shopping trip, but it is also close to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and all of the wilderness that goes along with it.

The campground is in the woods which makes the campsites more private than those at other campgrounds.  The facilities are nice and clean and the staff is friendly.  The lodge burned down in the spring of 2008, but it is being rebuilt in a similar fashion to the original.  Once it is completed in the summer of 2009, it will again offer home cooked dinners, a game room and a bar.  With these creature comforts, Hungry Jack is a nice place to get away to the wilderness without having to rough it too much.
